python3-tables-lib software package provides hierarchical database for Python3 based on HDF5 (extension), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-tables-lib
python3-tables-lib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-tables-lib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-tables-lib *
You will get with python3-tables-lib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
